Hey Guys
Just got back from Kauai! Picked up one of your magazines in the airport. I do a whole bunch of archery elk hunting out here in colorado and want to give this "underwater archery" a try. It looks like a kick in the okole! But I can only hold my breath for a minute thirty. How do I improve on this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

whats up man, cool that you found this forum.
what you can do is, scroll all the way to the top of the page. see that picture of the turtle? well underneath the back of the turtle you can see something that says community. now to the right of community you will see the word store. and below those two words you'll see this blue word that says search. (took me a long time to find it on the old site, so thought i'd give you directions) click that, then type in key words like apnea, static, bottom time, breath hold, etc.
you should find lots of juicy information
best of luck to you!

estew22,

With a breathhold of 1:30, that's plenty to get a fish. Obviously longer would give you an advantage though. There's a lot more things to factor in for "underwater archery". What kind of gear, how to stalk, where to go,etc. are just some very basic things to think of. Best thing here though is that on this forum you have a wealth of information and resources at your disposal. Ask away.

hey kurtis, you'll be back in time for the fundive? Stody will be there too so you can really kiss his behind  Just joking man! (where was shallowman with this comment?)

See if you can seek out the Colorado divers mentioned here.

norton - i'm up here til august, otherwise i would definitely be at that fun dive. when you guys were planning it i was secretly hoping you guys would keep finding things to argue about so that it would get pushed back further and further. oh well next time.
