So this sad day has finally come. After many, many years of faithful service, it's time to retire. That's right, the first HSD T-shirt that I ever got (when my kids bought me my magazine subscription) is going to be retired. Too many times I've caught flack from Shallowgal for wearing it outside of the house, aimpit hairs showing through the holes in the underside of the sleeves, little holes all along the seams at the shoulders, bottom edge frayed from wear and washing and material so thin, it looks like it's ready to tear with any little tug. I thank you, HSD T-shirt, for the many comforting days and restful nights that you have given me. Sleep well, my friend. Sleep well.

SHALLOWMAN, don’t throw it away just yet! It’s obviously a very important piece of Hawaii Skin Diver memorabilia.

Come on guys, it needs to be immortalized in some creative way! How could we have this shirt live on forever or at least give it a proper burial?

You should frame it and donate it to a museum. That's an important piece of history right there! :P
